History of Establishment: The NGO «Taze zaman» («New era») was registered in 2012. The most recent re-registration took place on September 26, 2022, at the Ministry of Adalat (Justice) of Turkmenistan.
Currently, the team of founders and staff includes experienced trainers and graduates of international educational programs in public relations.

Organization’s Mission: To promote the empowerment of youth in the Lebap velayat.
Areas of Work with the Population:
✔ Legal assistance.
✔ Youth engagement in civic education development.
✔ Collaboration with young secondary school teachers to implement active teaching methods/realization of educational programs for young population of Lebap velayat.
✔ Combating human trafficking.
✔ Gender equality work (including pilot projects with men – UNFPA pilot project).
✔ Environmental education for schoolchildren and youth.
✔ Work with young couples (newlyweds, early marriages, those planning to start a family – UNFPA pil ot project).
✔ Psychological counseling.
On January 22, 2025, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed with the Project Office of the Regional Environmental Centre for Central Asia (CAREC) in Turkmenistan. Participation in the 5th EU Civil Society Forum for Central Asia, January 28-30, 2025, Almaty, Kazakhstan.
