The convincing victory of HC Galkan over the Bahrain team at the International Ice Hockey Tournament

An international ice hockey tournament has started today at the Ashgabat Winter Sports Complex, which will last until April 20. 10 teams from different countries take part in it. The competition takes place in the format of 2 groups “A” and “B” in a round-robin system, where each participant will play with each other in a group. The group winners will meet in the final, and the runners-up will compete for 3rd place.

In the opening 1st round, 2 meetings were held in each group. In group A, our compatriots Galkan club won a convincing victory over the Bahrain Ice Hockey Club team 8:1. And HC Phoenix from Uzbekistan also beat the Oman Nationals team from Oman with a big score 11:3.
In the 1st match of group B, HC Akmola and HC Team Turkiye met, where Kazakhstanis won with a score of 5:3. HC “Dordoi” (Kyrgyzstan) and HC “ADIHIC-Kazan” (Tatarstan, Russia) clashed in the 2nd match. Score 3:8. Already at the beginning of the tournament, clear favorites can be identified, in group “A” – HC “Galkan” and HC “Phoenix”; in group “B” – HC “Akmola” and HC “ADIHIC-Kazan”, but not counting the teams that have not
yet performed in the groups, respectively, “Ice Box” (Iran) and Volat (Belarus).
Tomorrow, April 16, the 2nd round will take place, which will be attended by:
